Tash Tobias appointed CEO of Salter Brothers Hospitality

Salter Brothers Hospitality (SBH) the recently launched hospitality management platform, which also saw the appointment of Tash Tobias as CEO,
After an exhaustive search, Tash Tobias has been appointed as inaugural Chief Executive Officer. Tash will be reporting to the board and lead the executive committee.
In her new role, effective 28 August 2023, Tash will lead the business and oversee the operations of the retreat hotels, restaurants and bars, and spas and wellness facilities either under management and/or licensing services.Whilst the immediate focus of the platform is the properties acquired by the investment management business, part of Tash’s remit is to grow the properties branded to Spicers Retreats, Ardour Hotels and Estates and the Spa Anise with third party owners. This growth will first be centred on Australasia and then Asia Pacific more broadly.
Tash is uniquely qualified for this challenge as she joins SBH after an esteemed career at IHG over almost a decade and a half, where she worked numerous roles with remits spanning across Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia, including heading operations for Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. More recently, Tash spent three years at Virgin Australia, leading customer experience and product, including their iconic cabin crew. For the past four years, Tash has been a senior executive at Brisbane City Council where she has been responsible for the delivery of a diverse range of sporting, creative and community services to over a million residents.

Tash will be based in the SBH head office in Brisbane.
